As the center of your skeletal structure, your spine is what allows you to walk upright and do many of the things you do. When you are walking or performing other activities, try to keep your spine straight. When you lift an object, be sure to bend with your knees. Carry object close to you and do not bend over when you cough. If you want to gain height you must remember to stimulate your spine. You must stretch and move your back through its full range of motion. This movement keeps blood flowing and gives your spine the fluid it needs to expand. When you do not exercise your back will not be as elastic and will lose fluid, making you shorter. Keep in mind that your spine is the center of all growing and activity in your body.
