While most chat rooms are perfectly safe places to interact with others, you can avoid being a victim by knowing what warning signs to watch out for.

Chat rooms can be great places to socialize and even make friends, but keep a few safety guidelines in mind when you chat. You should never give out personal information like your address. While the person youre chatting with may have no sinister motives for asking this, remember that others may be watching what you do.
