There is a big choice of accommodation and hotel options available in Edinburgh which include small family run bed and breakfasts and low cost youth hostels to the very best in five star accommodation. If you are planning on a short break in Edinburgh in August or at New Year make sure you book well in advance so you get the best deals and actually get accommodation. It is not unusual on certain dates to find people booking accommodation as far away as Glasgow.
