Job Order Delays or Empty Promises

If a maid or any helper order has been placed with the placement agency, they would process it immediately. When there are delays, this does not already mean a denial. You may be already eager to have that help but don't get mad at the agency immediately. Ask them the reason of the delay and tell them the time frame you are willing to wait. It would be better to specifically ask when they think the helper will arrive.

Missing Agency during a Problem

When something goes wrong with the domestic helper coming from a maids agency, it's time to resolve the problem by communicating with the agency. In some cases, agencies duck in times of a problem. The phone lines seem to be dysfunctional or the contact person seems to be busy. Emails are good options or leave a strong message to the one who answers the phone, if it is with a foreign maid agency. Otherwise, make a personal appearance in their office and bring an attorney if necessary.

Wrong means different from the original choice or does not perform according to plan. An employer must review the contract and demand a replacement or a refund if the agency did violate the agreement.

As an employer you have a right to be angry when things don't go out as planned, but not immediately. Be open for resolutions. As long as the agency is willing to please you despite the problem, you have nothing to fear.
