People all over the world use this materials in a wide range of area. This include recreation facilities, strip mall, buildings, fire proof cabinets and mechanical devices. It has mechanical and chemical stability making it one of the most important materials in the world of building and construction.

Steel is a framing material that is easily and economically accommodating. It offers a large clear space giving the owner flexibility in office and house layout. It also offers larger clear span in a working environment. The designing is also quick and less time consuming due to the fact that it has physical properties that do not require less modification.

The alloy is light in weight compared to another material. The ratio of weight to its strength is much smaller in value than any other building material. This allow for a small foundation since the building is smaller in size. The foundation is therefore less expensive.

Steel buildings and structures are not only friendly to user but also to the environment. It does not pollute environment in any way. The building core material (steel) is easy to recycle . It is in fact almost 100% effective when it come to recycle. The material is therefore not wasted and reduces the rate solid waste stream that leads to landfill space. More recycling saves energy that would have been used for extraction of iron and forming an alloy with carbon.
