In most situations, Americans generally prefer to choose a specific design theme or style to decorate their homes as a way of making the overall decor of the home flow together as a means of expressing who they are to their guests. Country style is one of the most popular themes used in American decor. 27% of Americans have chosen this theme. If you want to put every single room in your house in country style, it will cost you a lot of money, but these tricks can help you do that without emptying your pocketbooks.

Tip #1 - Use either a cream or white colored paint to paint every room in your home. The majority of country decor relies on soft earth tones for painting to provide a comforting and relaxed feel. The more neutral the background, the more the accessories and paintings will pop.

2. By using simple decorating plans you greatly decrease your out of pocket expenses. You can do this by purchasing decorative items and furniture that are made out of pine or oak as a means of simplifying the overall decor, a material that is much more cost-effective and durable than plastic, glass or hard-wood furniture items.

3. Make sure to stay away from bolder patterns. Try to choose elegant patterns that are in softer, more muted shades and colors.
