Toys play a very important role in the typical life of a child. But the great importance and impact the toys might have on our children are often not understood. Of course it makes a difference if the toys teach our children some things or if they just amuse them being useless in terms of education at the same moment.

Toys play a very big role in the typical world of a child. But the great role and impact the toys might have on our children are often not understood. Surely it makes a difference if the toys teach our children some things or if they just amuse them being of no use in terms of education at the same time.

In this piece of writing I will mainly focus on dolls and their importance for our youngsters. Since I am originally from Germany where especially the idea of a puppet buggy (German: Puppenwagen) is pretty common and where it has also even been developed to some extend, I will also explain what the developers say about it. Should you for example buy a doll carriageregarding that it is not very cheap only being a buggy for a doll?

Many children have dolls and most parents expect this or even like the idea of having grand children so early. They like to see that their children care about something else. It might only be a puppet, but still teach them an important lesson: To take care. And this is also the reason why you should think about a puppet dolly (Puppenwagen). Even if you ask a professor for psychology at the university he will tell you not to underestimate the things you can learn from owning a dolly and treating a puppet a bit more like a real child.

But one should also regard the educational benefit and signal such a doll buggy (German: Puppenwagen) has. It shows the children that you have to invest not only time but also extra money if you want to look after something or someone in our case the doll. The children might soon start to think about more things they would probably have to buy for their own children later on.

It might only be a puppet and most parents some parents might even feel a bit jealous and wonder why their child cares about the puppet much more than about themselves. But this behaviour is simply caused by the fact that from the viewpoint of a child the parents seem rather like heroes and thus they also seem to be able to look after themselves. So instead of just being amused about the Puppenwagen ideas one should think it through first and regard the possible educational benefit.
