Dog grooming parlors are everywhere, and it's no surprise to anyone. Anyone who has ever known more than one or two dog owners has met at least one who is willing to spend more money on their dog than some people spend on their children. So why not spend that money on grooming?

Dog grooming parlors are everywhere, and it's no surprise to anyone. Anyone who has ever known more than one or two dog owners has met at least one who is willing to spend more money on their dog than some people spend on their children. So why not spend that money on grooming?

Doesn't your dog deserve that kind of care and pampering?

An occasional trip to the groomer is not a bad thing because your dog does deserve the best care you can possibly provide to him.

Although you may make occasional trips to the dog groomer a habit in your dog's life it does not mean that you should only have the groomer hold all of the responsibility. That can actually become a poor choice.

After all, the groomer is more experienced in the area of grooming your dog than you are, right? Don't most of us car owners allow mechanics to take care of the maintenance of our cars - why not let the groomers handle our dogs grooming needs?

Cars are not known as man's best friend though.

The relationship between a car and driver is not reciprocal like that of a dog and owner. However, lots of car enthusiasts do claim to "love" their cars (and some even believe it) but it's not the same as a relationship with a dog

However your car doesn't have feelings and won't ever love you.

Your dog is another story. The more time you spend with your dog, and the more you take care of him, the better and stronger your relationship is going to be. That's important, because taking the time to groom and care for your dog is one more thing that you can use to help instill good behavior.

Your dog is worth your time so give it to him.
