Pocono Mountain Resorts - Visit Them Not Just In Winter

One does not have to limit oneself to visiting any one of the Pocono Mountain resorts in the winter time. In fact as you will soon discover these resorts actually offer you the chance to visit this part of Pennsylvania at any time of year. The Skytop Lodge resort is situated in nearly 5,500 acres of Pocono Mountain land and accommodation choices are great. You can either stay in the more affordable standard rooms that the resort has to offer or book yourself a mini suite or cottage instead. Each weekend programs are run where naturalist come into the resort and teach you and show you more about the nature surrounding it. However, along with activities such as these the resort also offers you the chance to have a go at trout fishing or just spend time relaxing in its indoor pool.

Woodlock Pines Resort is situated close to the town of Hawley in the northern part of the Pocono Mountains. The actual resort covers a total area of 250 acres and offers many activities for the whole family to enjoy from miniature golf, to an arcade to water skiing. Also this is a resort that is ideal for exploring the countryside in which it is located.
